mrs2014 :  I had white sapphire as side stones in one of the rings I looked at, and didn’t like it.  It looked flat and like CZ.

mrs2014 :  I don’t have a sapphire ring, but I have white sapphire earrings. I actually bought them to check out the stone to see if I’d like it in an engagement ring or not 0:-) I think it’s a very pretty and sparkly stone. It doesn’t have as much fire, but it will reflect colors. It will definitely have a pretty glow in darker light. Search for white sapphire on youtube. There are all sorts of videos and I found that to much 23830x more helpful than the photos I looked at.

mrs2014 :  Yeah I think they were about .25-.50 carat, but that could have been the issue or being too small.

I have one! I’ll take a picture of it when I get home.

This is my anniversary 2 carat white.sapphire in white gold.

I clean it everyday in the shower w a tooth brush so it doesn’t look dull

I don’t have a ring but maybe my white sapphire bracelet could be of some help to you.

Here it is on a cloudy morning:

I think a ‘cold glow’ is a great way to describe it. It doesn’t have the fire of a diamond but it is certainly not without character! I notice that it does reflect colors if I hold it right next to something but I find that to be a beautiful effect.  : )

I got a 7.5mm created white sapphire from overstock.com and did not like it. I’m not sure if it was jsut the quality of that one, lab vs natural, or what it was.. but it was very dull.

I had a white sapphire ring and I didn’t like it. If you look into the refractive index on it you will see that it doesn’t have much to start with so it dulls really quick. I found mine most often looked like a piece of glass ๐Ÿ˜’ I was pretty bummed about it because it wasn’t cheap!

I have a ring with a lab created white sapphire halo and I have not been able to restore its clarity like when I first got it. It’s very dull and cloudy looking no matter how much it is cleaned. I have owned pretty much every color sapphire that exists(lab & natural) and never had an issue with them dulling or clouding over time like the white.

I have to clean it pretty regularly but heres mine! I have to admit im not the biggest fan of having to clean it so often, but ive had it a little over 2 years, wear it every day and can still get it to look as good as the day I got it.
