I considered it.  I chose to do only 1 band because it made my square ring round which I didn’t like.  Here is a pic with 1 band.

I have a similar shaped setting and thought about two bands, but ended up ordered a curved band similar to hobokenbride2012’s.  I am having it custom made to match the etching on my engagement ring.

your e-ring has such amazing details on the sides, it would be such a shame to cover it up with a 2nd wedding band.

I have worked in the jewelry business and have seen people get custom rings to suit their engagement rings (like yours) many times.

I personally like the look of it because it makes it wider.  Having two makes it have a symetrical look – I don’t really like it with only one band.

I say shop around (even on ebay) and you may be able to find something that will work without paying custom prices. If you do decide to go custom price several reputable jewelers.  Prices can vary greatly!

Just be careful of having another diamond band rubbing up against the diamonds on the sides of your ering…

I think it would look nice, but the two bands would cover up the nice detailing on the sides of your ring, because they would have to fit next to your ering perfectly to create the double halo look you like.

@yellowshoe:  I agree!!

I did buy an enhancer for both sides of mine…I don’t think it would count as a second halo but I like it so much better than one band.

@lalalalauren:  You could have some of the detailing replicated on the side of the bands so that you still get to see it.
