i think a thin, plain band could look lovely and simple with it, but if you want something with a little extra, you could try a chevron band. personally, i love the tiara shape they have, and a chevron band stacked with a straight band looks beautiful and quite unique to me.

edit: oops! i just saw that yours is a solitaire round stone. chevron may not work so well with that, but maybe it could if the stone is fairly high off your finger?

No, but I really wanted one. I just got suckered into a diamond wedding band. Which I like, if I were to wear just the band on its own. But together I love a plain band with a diamon band. It’s quirky, and I like that.

I’m planning on it. : ) My e-ring is a past/present/future band with three 0.3 carat inset diamonds, and I want a plain white gold band (and maybe a plain gold anniversary band to flank it on the other side) so that I can (maybe) wear it at work (I’m a nurse).

@AshleyM623:

Mine is 1.5mm and the diamond band is another 1.5mm…..I don’t have a pic but sometimes I wear it with my plain 1.5mm band so there are 2 bands and the ering. And I put the plain band between the diamonds one and my ering…Looks awesome I get compliments all the time.

I have a plain white gold band to go with my e-ring… though I have been thinking about getting a yellow gold channel set band also (to wear alone).

My e-ring band is really tall.. the side profile of it is huge.. as you can tell because the plain white gold band fits right underneath the head of it with no problem.

My wedding band has diamonds but then there is an area on each side that swoops down of just metal. I am actually somewhat regretting the diamonds because I think it makes the e-ring completely lost. If I could do over I’d pick a plain band

I also debated between a matching band & a plain one.  I ended up choosing the plain, because I felt that each ring stood out more.  I also love how delicate my e-ring is, and with the matching band, I thought it looked more like my e-ring just had a thicker band.

@MsATC:

I love your e-ring and band! I’m thinking about getting a plain band (with milgrain like yours) to go with my solitaire cushion cut ering that is set in a 1.2 mm diamond pave band. Your set is beautiful!

Well, I have the reverse of this: a plain e-ring band and a diamond wedding band. But I guess the overall look is pretty similar. And I love it!

@Mrs.Snickerdoodle: Crazy question but, how thick is your ering band? And how thick is your plain band? They look like a great match in thickness. My ering is like 1.2 mm, but the band I like is 3 mm; haven’t tried them on together yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing if one is too thick for the other.

@SouthRNComfort: Thanks!  I think my e-ring is 1.2mm also, and my band is 2mm.  I tried the 3mm and I thought it looked good too.
