Anyone have a flat wedding band?
I ordered one from eBay (2.5mm 14k rose gold) two weeks ago and it’s soo close to arriving! I check the tracking everyday lol.
I’ve been looking for a band for months. This one was on sale and the price was great ($65 USD), even with the brutal USD to Canadian dollar exchange rate.
Please post yours! Also, do you stack it with any other bands? I’m wondering if the different styles, like pave or art deco, will match with the flat shape.

Just checking in to follow, I did have one but it was plated Rosegold and it was just for fun. I’m curious to see some more

I have one! It arrived on Monday and I don’t have pictures of it yet, but:
Here is my engagement ring. As you can see, the band is flat as well:
The wedding band is the exact same height and width as the band from the engagement ring, only that it’s polished instead of brushed. It fits snugly next to the ring, like in the picture below (by the same jeweller who made my ring). Both rings here have stones, and my weddign band doesn’t, but it gives you an idea.
I will try to take pictures later.

My very first wedding band I got was a $45/50 from jcp it’s 7.5 for those bloated hand days when it’s 90 degrees out. It’s sterling silver. I stack sometimes with a 2mm rose gold band on the other side of my diamond, or a white gold band

Both my e-ring and my band are flat. I haven’t tried stacking but I’m not sure I would like it- it’s really important for me that the rings are the same height.

I know its well intentioned but please don’t say you are kind of OCD unless you have true, full blown OCD. Its a serious mental illness and it can get minimised easily through misappropriation of the term. Sorry, bee. Hate being that guy. Your rings are stunning though.

Not a problem, Yipeebee
. Thanks for letting me know- otherwise I would’ve kept doing it! This was the last time 🙂

I know where you’re coming from. I’m a perfectionist and did not want a gap between my rings. The engagement ring was designed together with the wedding band so that they would fit seamlessly together.

Thank you ladies!! I totally get what you mean about symmetry etc, I take so long to decide on any bands/rings because I analyze them from every angle.
I didn’t want a comfort fit because it wouldn’t ‘match’ the flat band on the new ring I’m having made. At the same time, I don’t like matchy-matchy…so I like symmetry in terms of design.
It got it! Woohoo! I won’t post a pic just yet because I have a gnarly cut on my ring finger plus fading henna from a family wedding last weekend lol 🙂
I don’t think I’ll be taking it off much. I always take my rings off (ering plus two eternity bands) when I get home but this one feels natural if that makes sense. I’m not worried about the stones or hitting it against something.
The other rose gold band I have was my mother’s band that my dad gave to her (has his name and engagement date engraved). I always felt super cautious when wearing it though. Now I have my own!
It fits perfectly and I love the size. I kind of wanted a 3mm but I don’t think the difference between 2.5 and 3 is that noticeable.
I can’t wait to get my new rose gold ering!
