So I am getting married on Aug 19, 2016 and just got engaged on 3/19/16…he decided that we have waited long enough and we are now cramming to get everything done. One issue that is really giving me stress is that my wedding band does not sit flush with my e-ring. Due to time and money constraints I deciced not to make a big fuss over it but everyday I try it on and the gap is now making me second guess my decision. I really love my rings, but just wondering if it looks really weird. Please help this OVER STRESSED bride by showing me pictures of your e rings that DO not sit flush to bands. So i.can get back to finishing up the plans of my destination wedding that is 6 weeks away…

I don’t have a gap but your rings are gorgeous together. I wouldn’t stress about it.

I wasn’t too sure about the gap, but it’s definitely grown on me! Where’s your wedding at?! We got married in Hawaii on 5/19! Yay for the 19th (it’s our number lol).

As long as you love your rings thats all thats important. I am having the same dilemma, but there seems to be heaps of rings on this site that have gaps so dont worry. Your rings looks beautiful together.

I love gaps !! And love your gap it’s gorg !! I fake my gap lol I actually don’t have a gap and my band and ring flush together perfectly but I love the look with a lil gap better! So when I wear her full time just thinking about getting a cheap dainty band to go in between to give the two space. Your set is amazing And not weird at all!! 🙂

I love the gap between your rings, and I think it looks great. My only concern would be if the girdles of the stones in the wedding band are rubbing/abrading the basket or prongs of your engagement ring. It looks like they probably are (or will be). In that case, you may want a spacer ring or to have them soldered to prevent damage.

I think your set looks perfect. I’m not generally a big fan of gaps either, but that one looks to me to be deliberate (especially since it is so uniform the whole width of the ring) and actually enhances your set by letting each ring have a bit of separation to shine.
I wouldn’t change a thing! Hope your concerns float away shortly and you’re able to fully love it! 🙂
