I have a marquise as well and the lady at the jewelers told me that they will resize my e-ring so that the stone can sit up higher than the wedding band. I have a knife-edged prong so I was worried about this as well. I would stick with the gap unless it really starts to bother you. You can always go and get it done! Hope this helped!

I have a slight gap on mine and I actually like the separation. If you realllly hate the gap maybe you can get a thin 1mm spacer band to put in between your ering and wedding band.

mellybelly: my engagement ring and wedding band are both rose gold, and then I have two teensy yellow gold 1mm bands and a silver crown band 😊 I love the mixture of metals and textures!

Mine have a slight gap because they were not a set. I lik my wedding band to stand on it’s own though so I chose not to get a curved band.

I love your gap and your rings are beautiful! It’s definitely a style and preference. My ring was actually custom designed specifically to have a gap because I didn’t want my band to sit flush.
