Hello! My husband and I just booked tickets to Europe and are looking for a fairly inexpensive place to stay in Rome. We were thinking of a B&B or something. I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions.

I stayed at a really cute hotel in Rome, but it’s been so long I don’t remember! The last time I was traveling in Europe we stayed in a bunhc of hostels. It was really fun to meet new people and see things a little more lose to reality, though I’m not sure it’s the best for a honeymoon. Good luck!

we stayed at hotel iq roma based on trip advisor reviews & were pretty happy with it.
it is really clean and well run, modern, and not very expensive at all. about a 5 minute walk from the termini train station and a 10-15 minute walk from the colosseum. the room and bathroom are pretty big,
that said – it is very “no frills”. there’s no hotel bar or room service or anything like that. i’m trying to think of something american to compare it to..maybe like a brand new hampton inn with ikea furnishings?
overall, if you dont plan to spend much time hanging out at the hotel its a perfect choice. if you want your hotel room to be super plush and fancy you will hate it!
