I don’t have one, but I have seen a lot of interesting ones by Alexis Russell. If you go on their instagram, you can see lots of options in different shapes, settings, and with different metals.

ladyjane123 :  I don’t have one either, I’m just over here drooling over them! I’d set one in yellow or rose gold to really make the stone pop.

I have one! It’s from Alexis Russell, white gold with a halo of regular diamonds. I looooove it, it might not photograph super well, but when it catches the light it’s sparkle city!

ladyjane123 :  Thank you so much! I did not see my diamond personally, my fiance COMPLETELY surprised me with the engagement. I follow alexis russell on instagram and was constantly showing him pics, so he knew I liked the salt and pepper diamonds. I love halos, so that answers that lol. I do this it’s better to have the white diamonds in the halo, they give it extra sparkle! I don’t think you’d really be able to see the salt/pepper detail in those tiny stones so it wouldn’t make sense to me.

People always love my ring, I’ve never had a bad or neutral comment about it. It’s very different and I think people are so used to seeing a normal solitaire, etc that they always do a double take when they ask to see mine 🙂 Wouldn’t trade it for the world!

You MUST check out Anueva Jewellery by Jennifer. I just custom made mine(with the bf) a few months ago. Let me tell you, I have been obsessed with salt and pepper rings for over 2 years and had been stalking many jewellers for awhile and doing a lot of research. Jennifer has a ‘build your own’ of salt and peppers, antique diamonds, and sapphires which are to die for!

I have to say that my experience with working with Jennifer was so pleasant, all my questions and concerns were answered very quickly and trust me I had a lot. She also sent me all the videos and pictures I wanted of my stone, and my setting I made sure it was EXACTLY what I wanted – I even sent yes and no pictures of ring details. I originally wanted an Alexis Russell or Chinchar Maloney but they are far much more expensive. AR that I’ve seen only has rose cuts, CM was too raw for me.

I haven’t received my beauty yet. The bf wanted to surprise me so the shipping details are going to him once the ring is made. Which should be right about now…. stay tuned 😉

ktb19 :  Your ring is so beautiful!  It’s fun to see other bees with rings from Alexis Russell!

ladyjane123 :  I have a grey salt and pepper, but it is rose-cut so it ‘glows’ rather than sparkle like a brilliant.  Salt and pepper stones are beautiful because of thier inclusions, but because of that they don’t throw light or have quite the same ‘fire’ as a white diamond (the light bounces around differently inside the stones).

Perhaps the seller can send you videos of the stone in different lighting?  This is what we did with my ring and it helped me make up my mind.

ladyjane123 :  yes, Alexis Russell WAS expensive and it definitely should have been less (just to be brutally honest about their craftsmenship). We were also charged a resizing fee, which I was not pleased about, and the shipping there and back took FOREVER. People have generally had fantastic customer service with her, and I did not so that was kind of a bummer. If you can find a different vendor I say go for it *shrug*
