Our site is on http://www.mywedding.com/stephanietodd

Feel free to check it out.  It’s pretty simple to use.  I didn’t use it for RSVPing, so I can’t help you out there but due to my FI’s job, we did password protect our site which was not really an issue.  Why is he so against that?

If you check out our site the WEDPASS: april2006

@GoodmorningBmore: Why is he against password-protecting it? It keeps your info secure so you don’t get crashers.

We used mywedding.com and used their online rsvp feature. It worked just fine for us. No random strangers rsvp-ed, and no one added extra guests who weren’t invited. The rsvps are really easy to manage, so if you do get weird rsvps, it’s very easy to delete them.

We used mywedding.com but did not use their online RSVP feature for that exact reason!

Ladies, I’d be ultra careful with these sites. You are putting your personal info out there, and adding your wedding date, also known as a day that your house will be empty for quite some time.

It would be VERY easy for someone to search those sites for that kind of info. I’ve read several times that people who post their vacations on Facebook have gotten broken into. Maybe not such a great idea posting your name and then your wedding date for anyone to see.

I am using weddingwire.com and I LOVE it. Highly customizable, easy to use and it was free!

I did end up getting a personalized website name from GOdaddy.com (I wanted our names as the website address), but it only cost me $1.89 for two years!

I do not have my website password protected, but the site does offer the option.

In order to RSVP the guest need to inset their name and if you are not on my invite list you are not allowed to RSVP.

They also have a wonderful seating program to arrange tables and chose seating assignments if you wish.

We have a mywedding.com site and used it for the RSVP.  We did not have anyone RSVP that was not supposed to.  WE did have people RSVP for more than who were invited, but it is a destination wedding and people tend to think the rules are different!
