Awwww…..I’m sorry, I don’t have any pics of it with straps.   I ordered the Adorae as well Smile  I’m sure you can pull off the dress strapless!  I know you will look beautiful!

I am thinking about wearing straps with my Adorae as well.  Here is a picture of what the strap would look like (Kleinfeld’s just used a sample piece of strap that was layin around for this picture).

The detail would go along with the whole strap.  Not just half of it.

Look up Adorae Louise it exactly like Adorae but with straps.  It’s part of the spring 2011 collection.

@MissAmyH:

Hi, I dont know if you’ve decided on the whole strapless situation but as one Adorae bride to another (also size 18) I’m doing the strapless and I think you can too. Im going to get the top “tightened” a little to be more secure (trust me I have LOTS to keep in) but from one bride to another go with what makes you comfortable but I think if I can pull off strapless so can you…..

                                        Congrats on your big day & BEAUTIFUL dress!!

I have tried on both the Adorae and the Adorae Louise (and actually owned Adorae for a hot minute).  The Adorae Louise has a deeper cut through the bust, so if you’re busty and a bit modest about it, you may not like Adorae Louise.  It was my first choice until I tried on Adorae, but then my Adorae didn’t work out and I had to move on to another dress.  I still LUST after Sottero & Midgley gowns, though, and am starting to feel like the gown I ultimately settled on isn’t “special” enough. But that’s another story.   Here’s Adorae Louise:

I’m dying to see that dress on a full-figured girl.  I wanted that dress so bad but I didn’t think I could pull it off.  So I got the S & M MAE.  Please show pics when it comes in.  This will give me some dress regret.

@MissAmyH……OMG……You look BEAUTIFUL in the Adorae!!!!   I’m sure the Adorae Louise will look amazing too!  But, if you chose to stick with the Adorae, you cannot go wrong…..Good luck! Smile

I was flip flopping between the Adorae and the Adorae Louise – in the end decided on the Louise for the straps – I really like them. You can see my posting of me in it!

The price of the Adorae and Adorae Louise are close – the Louise being a bit cheaper in the bridal shop I bought from. The Canadian price was between $1300-1400 for them.. I can’t remember exactly, but the Louise being closer to $1300 and the strapless $1400.

I did price it out in the US because I live near the border and it was about $1100 (strapless – Adorae).

Hope that helps 🙂
