I see no carrots but honest unfiltered opinion, I couldn’t wear that. It wouldn’t be practical for me and in general I just don’t like the way it looks.

Oh wow…that is very high set!  It’s a lovely ring but would be impractical for me personally so I would have it set in a different band that is lower. I would recommend wearing it for a week or so to see if it gets in the way. Keep in mind amethysts are not the hardest stones so it could end up chipping if you are rough on it, especially with it being set so high.

PS it is a beautiful gemstone!!!! 😍😍😍

Beautiful stone but I would not be able to wear that…it is set incredibly high and would be very impractical. I know I would knock it all over things and it would get caught in clothing hair etc.  I would return the setting for something without that huge diamond donut piece at the bottom which makes it sit so high.

I love high settings but I think that is just TOO high. The stone is amazing – definitely look into having it reset!

candy9188 :  It does look too high and chunky for my personal taste. Like you’ll hit and catch that thing on everything.

My set sits 1/2 inch off my finger.. trust me when I say you’re going to knock that thing around like no ones business!  Many door jams/corners have your ring in their sighs lol.  Its beautiful, but go to a local mom and pop place to see if the head can be lowered.

Girl!  Your stone!  πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜ amethyst is one of my favorite gemstones.  But I echo all the others.  I could rock the hell out a that ring on special occasions, but not for everyday wear.

candy9188 :  I think it looks beautiful!  I’m getting a ring designed with a bridge and it will be about 9mm off my finger and I have no problem with the height and I have children at home and it hasn’t been an issue for me.  But then again I work a desk job as well.

Wow, that’s high.

With being so high set, I would be concerned about scratching up that lovely stone.
