Yes.  I bought the cheapest one for around $50 and I LOVE IT!!!  The menus can lag at times but the playback is great.  We watch our Netflix regularly on it.  Plus we occasionally order Amazon on Demand movies as well.  Worth every dollar I spent and as a result we plan to get rid of cable and add on a Hulu account for $8 a month so we can watch recent shows.  This means our cable/internet bill will go from $160 a month to around $40 a month ($20 for internet, $8 for Netflix, and $8 for Hulu.)

@pengoala:  Well I guess it depends on what you want to watch. Roku is great for movies because you can watch instantly on Netflix or rent instantly on Amazon. So if you watch a lot of movies, it would be nice to have even with cable

We used to watch Netflix on our Wii but the Roku is easier to use (no recharging remotes all the time) plus it’s much smaller so it’s easier to pack and use in other rooms or when we’re traveling.

I love mine.  We can’t get cable, so we use this instead.  We have three of them total.

I love Roku!  It’s so easy to set up, compatible with netflix, amazon, and hulu plus, and isn’t too ridiculously priced for the value you get!  I’ve had mine for 4 years and never once had a single problem with it!

LOVE Roku!  In addition to Netflix and Amazon, you can stream Pandora too.  It’s a lot easier to use than PS2 (3? whatever Fiance has) to stream Netflix.  I haven’t successfully used it traveling yet but read you can if you bring a travel router.

They’re pretty popular, and the Roku 2 is a good choice! Even if you have some consoles, the Roku has hundreds more apps than any of them.

I looooooove my roku – hulu plus, pandora, netflix… I don’t have regular cable.  Since my tv is circe 1998, there’s only one input, so I got a $4 splitter to hook up my VHS player and my Playstation 2/DVD player.  It works perfectly!
