My gown is a pink/blush lace, mermaid/trumpet style and I’m adding a one shoulder and overlay skirt with satin sash. Only problem is, I can’t decide from which material to use! Both lovely. I have organza and English silk Tulle in a pink blush here in swatches and samples. Any feedback or experience is appreciated.

I love organza! The dress I’m looking at is organza & it’s so soft and flowy.

I have an organza dress… it is so soft! I think you really can’t go wrong with either material both are light and airy! I loved the organza beecause it was so soft and when I walked in it, it was just flowing and falling in all the right places if that makes sense! lol
Heres the dress (it still needs fitted):

@ellelm: Have you posted a pic of your dress anywhere? We really need to see it to vote!

Girls, you aren’t helping – lol!! I love all your gowns…and the tulle…and the organza. But, “romantic” “flowy and airy falling in all the right places”—that’s what I am looking for. I will be going for a fitting here shortly. I am kicking myself I didn’t get a photo last time. My first fitting I was so overwhelmed, because I love the gown, and also they were fitting me for the skirt and top piece. I will post it soon so you can better vote!
Thank you so much. Keep posting – its inspirational for me. I’ve attached three photos.
1. One is of the tulle skirt and tulle one shoulder top. The lace sweetheart neck of my dress looks like this, except blush. My gown is longer. Anyway, that is the skirt, minus one layer I’m going for. And the idea of the top.
2. The other is of an attached skirt in organza. Though I’d add another layer with organza skirt. I also like the idea of adding an organza top piece to my gown. Maybe if I went with organza, do a top like this using one shoulder only though.
I kind of like one shoulder. Again – whichever I pick: tulle or organza, it will be in blush pink.
I’ve purchased Vera Wang’s White collection blush belt that is shown with the blush mermaid dress she made last year.
I’ll be back with photos of my own dress! Thanks again.

La Sposa makes such romantic gowns. Beauty!
Update: I have both the tulle and organza fabric to be ready for either. Ordered the fabric from NY Fabric Store that is incredibly reasonable and professional (if anyone needs info, let me know).
I am so torn by which to use. My appointment is next week, and I will post some comparisons. Tell me:
Is 42 too old for tulle?!?
