I had a few little things that weren’t quite as I had hoped, but nothing really “bad” happened, luckily.

yes. the caterer ran out of food/didn’t restock food for both the cocktail hour stations and the dessert buffet. The worst part was that it caused me so much stress on my special day. They deny the extent of the problem (“oh…no stations were only empty a max of five minutes.” yeah right) and they are refunding a little money, but honsetly, I can’t wait to write them a cr*ppy review. I know that that sounds malicious, but their mistake caused me a ton of stress on my wedding day.

One of the groomsmen got a DUI on his way back to the hotel after the rehearsal and wasn’t released until just before the ceremony… We ended up using one of my DH’s other close friends (who he had also considered to be in it) as a groomsman in his place. We had told everyone on leaving the dinner to call a cab if they need one so I guess my advice would be to emphasize it more or provide transportation if it’s in your budget…

My first marriage, my then husband and I spent our wedding night in the emergency room. We had an ambulance come to the honeymoon suite and take him off and I got to sign my new name for the first time on the paperwork to discharge him because he was having chest pains. It ended up being an anxiety attack. : We got no sleep that night, but for all the wrong reasons, lol.

Nothing too serious on our day, but a few things that still bother me…I prepareed a speech and forgot to give it, we didn’t have the DJ announce the candy bar and it was in a side hallway so the majority of guests missed it
