I don’t think this is Caribbean per se..but what about sangria?

I use an inexpensive red wine that I know most people drink..I’ve also seen it with white wine and sparkling/champagne

The Caribbean islands always serve Rum Punch.  It’s soooo good.  Some places call it “Vitamin Arrghhh” (like a pirate says).

Here’s one recipe that is popular:

  • 2 ounces light rum
  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce sour mix
  • 1 ounce cream of coconut
  • 2 dashes grenadine
  • top with pineapple juice

It looks pretty too!!

Second the rum punch suggestion.  I use the traditional recipe: 1 of sour, 2 of sweet, 3 of strong, 4 of weak.

For the sour, I use lime juice, sweet I use simple sugar, strong is dark rum, and weak orange juice.  I add a little nutmeg too.
