…….because I think I just got scammed. 🙁 I bought $200 worth of linens a little over three weeks ago from weddingplannersofny. They had been advertising on the boards that they were closing the linen rental part of their business and promised immediate shipping. I paid as soon as I got the invoice and got a UPS tracking number a few days later.
Lo and behold, about a week and a half after the tracking number was generated, I checked on UPS’s website and it said that the tracking number was voided by the seller. I start to panic. I email weddingplannersofny’s email that came through PayPal and emailed them on here. No response. FINALLY they respond a week ago saying they don’t know why the tracking number was voided and that they would overnight my linens to me for Monday delivery. Fine. Great.
That Monday delivery was supposed to come this past Monday. There has been nothing delivered and no legitimate tracking numbers sent to me. I sent them an email on Tuesday stating that if I didn’t hear from them by Friday (today) I would file a dispute on PayPal and name them on the Weddingbee boards.
You can guess what happened because I’m posting here. No response. Nothing. It’s been over 3 weeks since I paid for these linens and as far as I know, nothing has shipped and they are not responding. I filed a PayPal dispute.
Has anyone used them successfully? Or is anyone else experiencing this with them? They had listings all over the classifieds for weeks.
Either way, I’m out $200 and need to find replacement linens. Boo.
