Anyone have any numbers or letters in their home decor?

I still have up our Mr. & Mrs. white wooden blocks from the wedding. I’ll get rid of them someday, but for now, seven months later, they still make me happy to see. And being white on our white built-in bookshelves they sort of blend in and don’t feel ostentatious.

ButternutPoppy :  Yes!  I copied this, did the same on an end cap wall in our house.  I did our last initial and used the same paint color that’s on our walls.

I also tucked a couple postcards with funny tongue in cheek messages on them around, in the bookcase and behind the bar cart. Adds a little humor.

teacher-bee-in-the-sea :  I feel the same on the white on white.  Big fan.  We have a small house and white on white helps to add interest without becoming too much really quickly.

Michael’s craft store sells lots of variation in letters and number styles for home decor!

ButternutPoppy :  Hobby Lobby has some great ones! Galvanized metal, wood, bronze, license plate themed. I saw one on Pinterest with drift wood. You could always get crafty and put your own style on a simple wooden letter set

Monogram and scrabble letters are from Etsy. This is actually all stuff from our wedding that I wanted to save. Someday I’ll finish it lol.

ButternutPoppy :

I ordered mine on Etsy.  I was at my local floral supply place before Christmas and they had galvanized, wood, ceramic, etc.  I’d think a similar lot could be found in most floral/craft stores right now.

ButternutPoppy :  This was one of my first anniversary gifts to my husband. It has the coordinates of where we met, got engaged, and got married. I had it made on Etsy. I’d be open to having our initials incorported into our decor somewhere but haven’t really come across anything that I love.

These are our initials. They were a gift from one of our friends and they hang above our entertainment center (excuse all of the other pictures lol) I am thinking of painting them possibly, but right now they do the job.

We have them in a few other places in our house but the pictures will have to wait until I am home. 🙂

I’ve had my eye on this for a while. FH and I both share the same last initial so I wanted to get a big ol’ R for either the front door or over the mantle.

Love it!  We have our initials above our bed, but will probably add more numbers/letters around the house as the years go by.  Here is a picture of the letters in our room!bedroom
