i know it’s bad to crash diet! which is why i never do it because i love food too much!!!!!
i’m going to vegas for my bachelorette next weekend and i just need to lose my gut for tao beach club. it goes away when i wake up in the morning! lol but throughout the day it shows up from eating!
anyone have any quick diet plans… besides not eating! i can never do that!!!
i wanna lose a few lbs if that’s even possible.
i’m like 108 right now… any lb lost would be great 🙂
and my wedding is in a month… i guess it’s time to tone up?? should i do active 2 or just hit the elyptical at the gym.

I know the cabbage soup diet works & it’s designed to do exactly what you want. I don’t think you need to actually follow it exactly- just stick to lean, clean foods & eat mostly the soup, and you should drop a few…

I would actually suggest exercising a lot more and just eating better (try and eat more veggies and lean protein and skip sweets and extra carbs). You’ll probably lose a few pounds that way. Exercising is much more effective than just changing your diet.
Also, it sounds to me that you are just getting bloated from eating the wrong foods. Avoid sodium packed food, carbonated drinks and drink lots of water and the bloating will probably go away after a week of that.

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding back in November and I stopped drinking pop for about a week and a half and dropped 5 lbs! It didn’t even come back after the wedding for about 3-4 months. Shockingly. So, definitely cut anything like that out of your diet. I was drinking multiple Pepsi cans a day.

For quick weight loss, you basically want to shed water-weight. Cut as much salt and sugar as possible, no soda (if you normally drink it, do find a 0 calorie one after your diet), drink loads of water, DO eat an appropriate amount of lean meat (or plant protein), eat mostly fruits and veggies, and eat small amounts of starchy foods.
Foods that contain a lot of water (like asparagus or watermelon) aid in shedding water weight. Celery, parsley, cranberry juice, and green tea are natural diuretics.
Long term… you know the drill. Whole grains, variety of fruits and veggies, 3 ounces of lean meat or beans a day, balance fat/protein/carb intake, exercise… Really, though, unless you’re under 5′, 108 is slim. If you’re over 5’4″, you would be underweight.

I personally do this diet to lose weight quick:
– Breakfast: Protein shake (1 scoop of low-carb protein power), 1 spoonful of peanut butter
– Snack: Another protein shake, 1 spoonful of peanut butter
– Lunch: Sandwich – (bread, less than 150 calories for two slices), Turkey, mustard and lettuce
– Snack: Protein shake, 1 spoonful of peanut butter
– Dinner: 150 grams of lean meat (chicken, white fish, sirloin), green salad with just lettuce and balsamic vinaigrette (I add grapeseed oil too – there’s little to no calories in it)
edit: the peanut butter needs to be organic, creamy: the kind where the oil separates..not Jiffy, etc.

honestly, the best thing you can do is cut out ALL sugar. No carbs (sugar) and no fruit. Drink lots of water and stay away from carbonated beverages. I weigh 125 right now and after a trip to Italy a few years ago, I gained 8 pounds in two weeks. When I came back, I ate only protein and veggies (salad dressing and fake butter is okay for condiments) and I lost 7 pounds in one week.

@southshorestarfish: If you workout, though, you should include some carbs (whole grains and fruits – nothing with added sugar) ahead of time, to make glucose readily available. If you aren’t exercising, sure, cut out carbs for a few days. But they serve a very important purpose. The ability of muscles to use fat for energy is limited – muscles need glucose.

My co-worker did a diet called the HCG diet. He lost 10 pounds in the first week. You can try google it. It has doen wonders for him and super fast results.

you’re 108 lbs. you’re fine don’t worry about your gut you’re probably the only person who thinks you have one anyway.
just make sure to wear a white bikini at tao beach! i’m totally doing the same thing for my bachelorette party lol have fun!!!

@roxy_angell13: NOOOO do not do the HCG diet. It only works because you’re having 500 calories per day. It is madness, and you will STARVE. I did it for three weeks, and I was mean and nasty, and my hair/nails/skin looked really unhealthy. It’s bad all around..

@napabridekelsey: my coworker is doing that now and she is CRAZY! she is in her 50s and think she is fat at 120lbs. she’s not fat at all! she is always on some crazy diet. last year she got married in july… she was only drinking juice from feb till her wedding!
i think i might do the cabbage… is there a lot of farting and pooping? lol… im really too lazy to make the soup…. more like i don’t want to go to grocery right now
