My SO has asked me to make a final decision for an engagement ring, and I still love delicate halos. I’m definitely set on an oval diamond, but it seems that many people advise against halos, so I’m nervous about pulling the trigger.
I know everyone says get what you love, but… Bees with halos, do you still love them? Do you wish you had chosen a solitaire instead?

I have a halo and I still love it. I never wanted a solitaire. I’ve been wearing it for over two years, and I’ve never regretted it. If you love it, get it!

And if/when I do, I’ll either reset it or get a new ring altogether..

I will never regret getting a halo. The best decision ever. I had a solitaire which I loved as well, but I love the look of a halo.

I have a delicate halo and I ADORE it! Been married for 3 years now and I still take ring pics every now and then because its so pretty! I’ve also added a stacking band for my son with his birthstone! Also, most people I know with halos have no regrets 🙂 Happy ring hunting!

I wanted a halo, but my Darling Husband convinced me to get a solitaire.
5+ years later, I am glad he convinced me. I’m glad I don’t have a ring that can be pinpointed to a specific decade.
That being said, I still DROOL over halos!

I have one and I love it. It adds something extra. I don’t know anyone else in my personal life who has one.
People often speak of halos being time specific but they have actally been around for centuries. Everything with design is cyclical. Things go away, then they come back. If you love it, go for it.

Gorgeous ring!! I love the size of your halo, I like when the halo enhances, rather than detracts from the center stone. It’s so sweet that you have your son’s birthstone in your band. 😊

I love how ovals look in halos! I honestly couldn’t imagine my ring without it. Everyone has their own style and that includes ring styles! Not everyone is going to love halo just as some don’t love princess cuts (🙋🏻♀️) what matters is that YOU love it.

I LOVE delicate halls that enhance the stone. I also love rose gold because I think it looks more detailed around the halo stones. I’ve thought about whether or not I’ll feel like it’s dated down the road but I decided that fashion runs in cycles anyway and if I love it, that’s all that really matters.

I love my halo. It adds some extra sparkle without being too much! When we looked at rings, I just didn’t like how plain solitaires looked on me. Zero regrets here. 😇

Excuse my nails in desperate need of a fill.
I have had my halo for over 3 years and I don’t regret it one bit. It adds a little extra sparkle without taking away from the beauty of my center stone. I know some people say that it is “trendy” but halos have been around for forever. If you love a halo go for it!

I don’t have a halo and ultimately I’m glad I didn’t go with one for myself but I do admire other people’s halos! And I LOVE an oval in a halo! Get what you love 🙂 at the end of the day it’s just a ring and can be reset if needed 🙂

My friend just got engaged and she has an oval with a halo and she had regrets about it and is having a new solitaire setting made.
In her case, I think it more has to do with the fact that she has a larger stone (2.3 cts) and the halo makes it look too flashy and takes away from the center stone.
