I bought the lorie yesterday. It just felt right when I put it on. Of course, after leaving the store and looking through pictures, I started to have some dress regret. But, like everyone on this thread has been saying, pictures really don’t do it justice. I’m so happy this thread exists because all of your pictures have helped me confirm that I LOVE my dress!

I plan on making alterations almost exactly like cheerio00 to give it a slightly more fit and flare shape. I’m also going to start hunting on etsy for a belt with a little bit of bling to help sinch in the waist. I like the look of the long bow in the back. I loved the cathedral length mantilla style veil I tried on with it at the shop, but it was $500 – ouch! I’m hoping to find something similar elsewhere for at least half of that.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I am almost exactly like you! I had dress regret too but it really is amazing and the right dress for me. I also plan on doing the same alterations and I will be leaving the bow. I am having my belt sewn onto the dress itself.

@SmangieBee:  Wow Lorie does amazing things to your bum! You look stunning. I hope my behind looks that good! Didn’t get any photos of the back. I like the long bow too. I will also have the same fit & flare alterations that Cheerio had done.

I guess I’m quite lucky, ivd never had dress regret. Although I suppose there’s still time haha! Xx

Thank You!!!!! Yeah, I think the best way to prevent dress regret is to avoid looking at other dresses. Lol! There are just so many different and beautiful ones to choose from. I think the “cheerio00” alterations will make the dress perfect (if only the train was a weee bit longer). The clips in the back really did help the tush. It convinced me that alterations were necessary!

By The Way, I love both of your shoe pics!!! Even though I’m barely 5’3″, I think I might take the advice of my married friends and wear a lower heel.

Where are the lorie bride wedding pics? I’m dying to see some!

And I’m still having trouble deciding what kind of veil to wear. lol. I’m planning on wearing my hair down – possibly swept to the side – and I didn’t want to wear a long veil, but now I’m thinking I might like a chapel-length/floor-length veil. I’m just not sure if I like this look with my hair down.

@goldie602:  I went with a fingertip legnth veil with lace just at the bottom.  I tried on the floor legnth ones but I didnt like the way they made my head feel and I thought it was way too long.  But I am also wering my hair up.  I WANNA SEE SOME OTHER LORIE BRIDES TOO!!! Im DYING to see all the ladies wearing this beautiful dress!  Update on shoes girls!  I tried on these at the store and they were perfect!  Not to high, and comfortable.  I really wanted the other ones I posted earlier but I also want to be able to walk all day.  Let me know what you think!

@hedwards0524:  Sounds pretty! And fingertip might be more my style than a longer one.

I like the shoes! They look comfortable too.

@nearlythere:  I like the simple drop earing. Very classic and elegant. I think with this dress you can go simple since it’s all lace and sparkle. They would be a pretty addition.

At first I wanted to wear pearls, but now maybe the diamond/crystal look like this…

Not these exactly but you get the idea…

I don’t want to look like I have too much going on since I want to wear my hair down and I’m also wearing the sleeves.

@goldie602:  Those earrings you posted are beautiful. Im gonna wear the sleeves also and probably will put my hair up!

This is actually me in my dress but im gonna delete it tomorrow or so! Also this dress was 2 sizes too big for me so will obviously fit me better when its my proper size!

@nearlythere:  I LOVE LORIE PICS ON REAL BRIDES!!!! Seriously I look for new ones everyday!  I love your bracelet! I would like earrings like this

OR like this

I chose a sash with bling to wear on my big day. But I am concerned with what necklace to wear If i wear these types of earrings.  Any suggestions?  My bridal consultant said to wear no necklace if I have sash and if I want to wear earrings like this….which i DEF want!  HELP!

@nearlythere: Pretty! I love seing you wearing the sleeves cause it seems like most of the brides aren’t wearing them! I love seeing it with the long veil too (I’m still trying to decide on a veil).

@hedwards0524: I love those earings! Similar to the idea I’m going for. I think you can do it with or without a necklace. If you do a necklace I would do a simple drop necklace. I’m debating the same thing. I think I may do earrings and no necklace (but it’s hard to say without seeing it all together). I think I’m going with a plain sash – maybe with a flower. Although I see the bling sashes and love those too! It’s so hard to pick. lol.

@hedwards0524:  Nice earrings.  I love them.  Where can you purchase these from?

@linnie520: They are from an etsy vendor, earringsnation.  BEAUTIFUL stuff and very well priced!

@FoxyBride14:  I always wanted a statement necklace with BLING but I’d rather have the earrings.  Your idea is perfect!  Very similar to what I have been thinking….not having the huge bling type of necklace though is such a bummer!

@goldie602:  Thats my thinking  something simple or nothing at all.  I like the earrings so much that id rather wear them than a necklace that is huge
