I am so in love with this dress in person, but for some reason the pictures of this dress does nothing to me.  I went right by it in the bridal book but when I saw it in the store it was love at first sight.  Unfortunately they didn’t have it in my size for me to try on but this is my new fave dress

@mrsjjohnson2b: I guess it was kind of the same for me…i actually hadnt really been looking but i love love love maggie sottero, so she was having a trunk show in the town i live in so i went, tried on all the dresses i loved and nothing was getting me, except Angelina, I was completly inlove with her, i loved the satin but didnt like how heavy it was, so the bridal salon i was at has a upstairs couture room, so we went up there, I saw Adeline, i was like uhh ok i’ll try it, why not, the second she put it on me, before i even saw myself in the mirror i was inlove! I could just tell it fit so perfectly! I considered getting Adeline Marie, but since i am having an outside wedding my consultant and I decided the taffeta would be best, they are both so very gorgeous! You should definitly find a place to try it on…I’ve been searching high and low to find another store that carries her, unfortunatly since it was a trunk show, adeline was only there through the weekend…i have found alot of stores out of my state that carry it in stock! Hope you find her and get to try her on!

@Nettiekayeg22: It looks Lovely on you.  I ran straight to it when I saw it at the store and fell in love, but I went right by it when I was going through the catalog.  The back is to die for!!  I guess the camera doesn’t show all its beauty.

I tried on a similar Maggie dress just to see how that fit would look on me and it was banging!! Only problem is I have a lot of junk in my trunk but really small up top and with all the bead work alterations might be a pretty penny.

Now, is Taffeta going to be more light weight than the Satin?  I’m sorry I don’t know my fabrics…lol  I’m having an outdoor wedding as well so I guess this is stuff that I should know.  I am waiting on Mori Lee 1811 to come out then try both and decide but for right now the Adeline is winning.  This is the Mori Lee

@mrsjjohnson2b: Thanks! Yea, the satin is wayyyyy heavier! If you are going with a outside wedding i probably wouldnt go with satin, its your own choice obviously, but the satin is so formal and i think it might just look kinda funny, you know what I mean? But i could be completly wrong i guess, I know i have been to outside wedding where the bride is wearing satin, although shes beautiful, it just doesnt look right….when i think of satin, i think of gorgeous church wedding, huge reception in a huge ballroom! As far as the junk in teh trunk and small up top, i am pretty much teh same way, the top of Adeline was a little big on me, the dress was a little big actually, but they said that when it come in the right size there shouldnt have to be any alterations really, due to the corset back…AND there are always padded bras and push up bras, lol, thats my goal, to look bigger than i am! LOL! the back is stunning, it is amazing in person! I really hope this helps, honestly i wouldnt do the satin if your having it outside, just my personal opinion. which i should not say cause i am still considering the satin, only about 30 percent unsure now! LOL

@mrsjjohnson2b: P.S the dress you put up is gorgeous, unfortunatly, i think it isnt gonna do much for your bust line, like i said, i am pretty small in the north as well, and i tried one on with a neckline like this and hated it!!! I’ve found the moe of a sweetheart neckline the better, depending on how much cleavege you want, lol, but the deeper does do the small region wonders! I am actually in the process of finding out it Maggie will deepen the neckline for me!
