I have a vintage ring and it is on the smaller side!this is it on my 7.5 finger with the band.aand this is just the 2 up close.  I love my ring. Everything about it. It’s smaller size doesn’t bother me, because i love all the metal work and the fact that likely no one else has an exact match.

I LOVE OLD DIAMONDS…..THE SPARKLE IS AMAZING……I HAVE A BRAND NEW CANADIAN DIAMOND AS AN ENGAGEMENT RING, BUT I DID BUY AN ANTIQUE RING FOR MYSELF AS AN AMAZING RIGHT HAND RING A LITTLE WHILE BEFORE GETTING ENGAGED…AND I DO NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE AT ALL, IT JUST INCREIDIBLY SPARKLY….EVEN IF THE CUT IS NOT PERFECT, I DARE SAY IT SPARKLES AT LEAST AS MUCH AS MY IDEAL CUT DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING. HERE´S A PIC!!

This is my mom’s e-ring which I love and just screams art deco to me.

My sapphire is 1 carat and the total weight of the diamonds is  a half carat. I think it’s an average size.

I have an Art Deco Ring (I think) from 1936. It’s not bezel, but is smaller. My ring size is 5.25 and I think the stone is around 0.4 carats if that helps.

My ring came from an antique store! If he knows you well just tell him you like that vintage look and trust he’ll know you don’t want some finger encompassing art deco sculpture on your hand rather than a dainty ring.  Or you could just hint “oh i just love that dainty vintage look, isn’t it amazing” if you see something while out and about.  That’s basically what i did!
