Today I made stuffed bell peppers (made with stuffing, ham, shrimp & ground beef) and mashed potatos with gravy. I was getting ready to make the peas (with butter and seasonings) and thought should I add bacon? What do you guys think, or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks

I would do peas with mint. Your dinner sounds delicious.
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium meat. Add peas and cook 2 minutes, until crisp-tender. Add salt and pepper and stir to coat. Remove from heat and stir in mint.

@julies1949 Thanks for the recipe, unfortunately I don’t have any mint, and the peas are canned and already opened. By The Way I hate peas and they are for leftovers for my hubby to eat during the week. The bellpeppers took me 2 1/2 hours just to prepare to cook in the oven for another hour!!!! The are delicious though they are called ‘Nawlins Style Stuffed Bell Peppers.
