if you google “tiffany legacy” for images, quite a few comes up!  I tried it on too but it was too costly!  Within my FI’s budget, it would have been dainty on my chubby fingers haha.  I ended up with the hearts on fire transcend and I love it!

the Legacy was always my dream ring. Ever since I can remember. My e-ring is a round replica and I LOVE it. Here’s mine, I know it’s not cushion but just for comparison’s sake.

Here is my Tiffany legacy but, I really would NOT recommend anyone buy a coloured Tiffany legacy or any Tiffany Legacy. Nearly 3 yrs ago my now husband proposed with a 1.80 blue sapphire Legacy from Tiffanys…2 yrs later and I noticed it has eroded..YES the actual platinum on the underneath that holds mini diamonds was eroded and the diamonds were exposed…leaving them to potentially FALL. Now I wore this ring daily- it’s an engagement ring, MOST ppl DO wear it daily- I wore it along side its matching Legacy diamond wedding band from Tiffanys-as advised, I never slept/showered/washed dishes with it and yet it damaged ridiculously! As if this isn’t bad enough Tiffany sent my ring to NYC where it took 6months for them to tell me the cost of fixing the platinum- bare in mind NO stone was lost would be 6250 euros- that’s a good 9thousand dollars.

EXCUSE ME? Are they mad?? Now it’s been 7 months,(yes that’s how long we have been parted) I am STILL waiting for that ring, I refuse to spend that kind of money fixing an overpriced product, it has totally left me disillusioned, looking carefully at my husband’s wedding band from Tiffanys which is platinum it is severely scratched- he is a lawyer, why would it be scratched?

So with that in mind I would never recommend someone spending a ridiculously large about of money, buying in to a brand who aren’t spending money on quality.

Save that cash and get a replica from another place, the price will be lower BUT the quality will be equal or even BETTER!!!

 The look of the ring is beautiful and if you find a good jewellers to make it I would advise them to reinforce the part under the made stone- to ensure it isn’t ruined if you wear a wedding band FLUSH with it.

๐Ÿ™ GUTTED- as it’s so beautiful x

@Calistar:  That’s so disappointing :-(.  If I’d spent a lot of money I would have expected to have received great customer service from Tiffany so that’s not good to hear.

@louonline:

I know, I was so devastasted and can’t believe it’s been 7 months since I had my ring on my finger. I know there is a user on here who is upset I’ve posted this warning afew times on different threads, I didn’t realise you couldn’t, I just genuinely think it’s important people realise what CAN happen and make an informed decision. Tiffany’s was a dream for me and after what happened I am thrown. Having googled and researched online I see I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience with Tiffanys- and when it comes to complaining online they are quick to remove all negative comments on many different sites ๐Ÿ™

To be quoted over 6 thousand euros to repair a little platinum is utter unjustifiable and not economically possible!

๐Ÿ™ I just want it back

That said, it’s a beautiful look, whoever makes/designs it- Halo settings really add a beautiful sparkle and can really enhance the centre stone magnificiently!

@Calistar:  I agree that is a ridiculous price.  It can’t possibly cost anywhere near that much to repair it!
