I had a Windows 7 phone (HTC Radar) on TMobile and I LOVED IT!  DH and I just got iPhone 5’s on Tuesday and I told him and the salesguy that I am probably the only person on earth who will miss their Windows phone.  I loved how easy it was to use– very intuitive, organized and never had any glitches.  If DH’s phone hadn’t died, I would have kept that phone forever!

PS– If you are looking for a new iPhone, WalMart has the 5 on sale for $127 right now.  We got Best Buy to price match, and they also had the 4S on sale for $49, I think?  They’re not on TMobile unless you jailbreak, though.

I reviewed one, not a fan. It did work similarly to the windows 8. Apps, well there are hardly any ESP com paired to google or apple, IMO the UI is not smooth, and not impressed with the storage options, it almost solely relies on cloud storage.  Microsoft missed the boat and they are trying to catch up, this was not an impressive second try.

I would look at the Nexus 4, if you are willing to wait in back order status. The Galaxy 4 is expected in the first quarter ( Rumored to have a flexible screenn), The S3 is amazing, the Motorola Razor Maxx HD is a nice phone. The Galaxy Note 2 is Fab if you can handle the size. Whatever you get make sure that you are getting the JB OS.

T-Mobile, not a fan of the new pay up front for a phone thing, only a few markets have 4g, and most of their phones are just now getting ice cream sandwich. I am shocked they still have gingerbread. Coverage here is non existent. So national coverage just will not happen if you need it.

If you really like apple products, it may be worth it to stick with them. Over two or three years the price isn’t horrible. I love my S3, but I am a Droid person. It is the best selling phone, so there are tons of accessories and I love the UI.

@kryssbride:  Why not?  You can use iCloud and do updates via wifi now.  I don’t plan on hard syncing mine at all.

Yes and I like it a LOT better than the iphone I had before.

Better heads-up display, multiple apps running at a time, and all the apps I need. Great screen too, clear and the perfect size.

I will not be going back to apple!
