Hey fellow March 2013 bees!
I was just wondering how many of you already have bought your wedding gown. When did you purchase it? I thought I would have mine by now, but I’ve totally fallen in love with Maggie Sottero’s Divina from the Fall 2012 line and I have been waiting patiently (well kind of…lol) to try her on. The thing is, she will not be in any salon near me until the middle of August. I did make an appt to try her on first thing when she comes in, but my question is this…If I’m getting married on 3/2/13, would that be enough time to get her in for my wedding?
If any fellow bees would like to share their input, or their dress shopping experiences, I”m all ears!

I ordered my dress around Chrismas (I fell in love, and didn’t want to put anything else on) – and it’s still not in. So, depending on when it comes out, you may need a rush order on it!

My wedding is also on 3/2/13. I ordered my dress this past March and am still waiting for it! August might be cutting it close since it takes 4-6 months to get the dress from the date you order it. That already puts you out to earliest January latest March. If you get the dress in January you’re cutting it really close for alterations, which supposedly take 2-3 months. I suggest you start looking at other dresses now.

I ordered my dress in early Feb and it’s not scheduled to get in until the end of August. I agree, you may need to put a rush on anything you order in August for your March wedding 🙂

Update on this…
I called the local salon with my concerns about the dress not coming in on time (They probably think I’m crazy lol). My consultant called both the store owner and the Maggie Sottero contact, and both were not worried about my dress coming in on time. They gave me a rough estimate of December/early January at the latest, but they won’t know a solid date until I actually order the dress. *Yay* This made me feel SO much better!
In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye on the ship date online. If it starts to get too tight, I do have a backup gown I could go with. But I really do have my heart set on this one. I really hope it works out!!

I’d recommend you toget your dress like in October cuz depending on the style it’s howbling it takes to arrive… And try whatever you never imagined yourself in, you never know!
