I have a Scott Kay knife-edge solitaire with surprise diamonds, but the band doesn’t look exactly like the one you have pictured. I can still post it if you’d like to see, though.

i think that’s what my ring is…i didn’t know it had a name, but it lends a lovely vintag-y feel to it. don’t know if you’ll be able to tell from the not so great phone pic. hth!

@squishee – thanks! i didn’t ever think i wanted diamonds on the band, but that’s what my fiance got (i’m also pretty bling adverse and over the years had just told my fiance i wanted a solitaire with a thin band) and i love it! i don’t know what i’m doing with the band – really struggling between a matching knife-edge pave band or just a plain knife-edge, or a matching knife-edge with the milgrain detail and no diamonds. i’m having a really hard imagining what the options would look like and worry a matching band would be too much diamond. i’m also worried about the little stones hitting each other and falling out. my ring twirls a lot b/c it’s too big. i already sized down once and don’t want to do it again b/c my fingers swell sometimes. i asked the jeweler who made my engagement ring if he had some bands i could try on to see how it would look, but he said mine was custom, so…no. i’m thinking maybe another jeweler might just so i can see how it looks and make a decision!

what are you thinking? something matching or something totally different?
