I got mine sized twice!  When I got it it was way to small and had to force it on my finger and could barely get it off.  Then it was to big and it was sliding around.  The third time it came out perfect!  My ring wasn’t purchased from a store but custom made so I took it right back to the guy and each time it only took an hour!

I’m really surprised at how long it has taken people to get their ring sized. Mine was a 6 and needed to go down to a 5.  I have a life time warranty to the resizing and any damage was totally free.  They said they normally do sizing same day. But my ring’s value is in the 10’s of thousands so they only wanted their best guy to work on it and he was out.  So I got it back the next day after he sized it.

@Mrs. Meowerson: Thanks! I love her.  Hubs did a good job, I think I’ll keep him : )

I had to get my wedding set re-sized. I used one of those online ring sizers which, I’ve come to find out, is not accurate at all. We got it re-sized at the same place my Fiance got the rings so it took them 24 hours to complete it at no cost to us. The store guarantees their products and all their work, so if anything happened to the ring, they would replace it.

I had to get mine re-sized – TWICE!  Once from a 6.25 down to a 5.75, then back up to a hair shy of 6.  My fingers swell like crazy in heat, exercising & at high elevations.  We go snowboarding alot and my ring almost got stuck the first time I wore it up to the mountains.  Took me 30 minutes of ice, lotion, pain and tugging, but I got it off.  No way was I going to the ER and letting someone saw my e-ring in half!!!  That’s when I got sized up to a 6.  Lesson learned.  lol.

I just had mine resized from an 8 to a 7, and it’s still about a half size too big. I was so sad when I got it back and it was still just too loose. It’s from Blue Nile, I sent it to them on a Tuesday, and they sent it back to me the next Tuesday. I think I’m just going to put a rubber sizer on it for now and get it sized again in January, which is when I hope to reach my weight loss goal. Plus it will be cold then and my fingers should be at their smallest! I just want my ring to FIT for once.

My Fiance purchased e-ring online (whiteflash.com). My ring was just 0.25 bigger than it was supposed to be. So I sent my ring back to Whiteflash.com and it has been 11 business days so far and I am still not sure when I will get the ring back. Before I sent it back, they said it would only take 5-7 business days to resize a ring. The funny thing is, it took them 4 days just to have the ring verified. Can you imagine not having your e-ring for more than 2 weeks? My friends keep asking where my e-ring is and I haven’t showed it to anyone yet since I got engaged. Some of my other engaged friends say they can’t understand why it would take this long to resize a ring. It’s frustrating. Really.

Mine took a whole week, and I hated every minute of it!
