I always assumed that, in a case where you’ll have your e-ring flanked by two rings, that you’d wear your e-ring and one band on your other hand so your FH only has to put 1 ring on you. Then at a convenient point transfer the other two rings to your left hand. Voila, instant 3 ring-d bride ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m getting two bands, but think I’d wait to wear both of them.      I think it will make it that much more special because it will change the entire look of my engagement ring!

I agree that I think it would be easier to just have him put one ring on your finger.  It was hard enough doing one!

i have 2 wedding bands that go on either side of my engagement ring too. i don’t think it’s too soon at all. i think ladies should love their sets even if it means wearing more than 2 rings=) i’m going to wait till after i’m married to wear any of the bands. his is the only time i can get away / only wearing my E ring so i’m going to take advantage of it=) also, the band wouldn’t mean so much to me knowing i’ve worn it before the wedding and ppl would think i was already married! i hope i helped=)

I have one ring for my right hand that matches my partner’s and one on my left hand that matches my engagement ring.  He put them both on me during the ceremony.

I have two bands on either side of my ring.  Because of the shapes I went ahead and had my ring soldered together before the wedding to prevent all the slippage until we got back from our honeymoon.  I went about a week and a half with no ring at all before the wedding and then he gave me the whole package during the ceremony.

My fiance & I just got engaged on Christmas Eve.  He preferred the look of 2 bands flanking my e-ring. Although I preferred one band, I wasn’t about to turn down more bling, so I let him win ๐Ÿ™‚

When the jeweler sent my ring out to be sized, my Dear Fiance had them solder one band on to the e-ring now and he will put the 2nd band on my finger on our wedding day (they are contour bands so I definately wanted them soldered to keep them from twisting/turning).  So I am wearing one of the bands now (not necessarily by choice since it’s soldered), but I am totally ok with doing it this way.  I don’t think I would have it any other way actually.  I don’t believe that it’s bad luck to wear it before the wedding myself.  This isn’t my first marriage (or his either) so maybe we are a little more non-traditional than others…we have a house together, joint checking/savings accounts and auto insurance policies so we feel married anyway ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes!  I will be!!

I told my Fiance I wanted two weddings bands and he couldn’t say no!  I can’t wait!!!

I think I’m going to wear them both on one side though, I’m not sure yet.  They bands are platinum with round and bageutte diamonds all around (it goes round, baguette, round, etc).  This matches the band portion of my e-ring.  I cannot wait to see what they all look like together, I love the bling!!

I don’t think you should wear one of the bands yet though.  I have a channel set eternity band that I wear on my right hand.  The diamonds are larger than would be on my two wedding bands, but the two wedding bands next to eachother are the same width of this eternity band.  I love to put it on my left hand when I’m alone somewhere or running errands by myself to see the bling on my left hand, but I don’t feel right about it since I’m not actually married yet.

How about waiting to wear the first band until you get your marriage license, which would still be before the wedding?

I was thinking of getting a second channel band after we’re married, but I didn’t think of the logistical issue. @SkyBeauty37 Good point! I think the Bees make a good point, he puts one on and you switch the one on your right ring finger over after the actual ceremony. I love it! Its the old switchero

I have two bands! He put one band on top of my e-ring during the ceremony, then somertime afterwards i pulled them both off and put the other one on the bottom before we did any photos. I’ve played around with mine and they look best one on each side with my e-ring. I almost went with a large wedding/anniversary band (5 stones, 1.5 carats) and that looked really nice, too, but i like the two better (same carat weight tho).
