I just moved from California to Pensacola, FL and I am having the most difficult time finding a rehearsal dinner dress. The shopping out here is not great. I’m 22 and everything I’ve been seeing has been either too little girlish or too old womany. I want something that’s a little, dare I say, sexy, but I can’t find anything. I love cool color palettes, lace, v-neck cuts, etc.
Does anyone have some dress suggestions? Anyone else having the same issue? It’s just so hard to try and find something on the internet, without being able to try it on!

I would recommend looking online for dresses (it’s what I did when I lived in the Midwest for a couple of years).
Here are some of my go-to online stores:
- shopstyle.com (a database that allows you to search for clothing/accessories/shoes/etc. from hundreds of stores; you can narrow by color, style, price, store, size, etc.)
- Private Sites: Gilt.com, BillionDollarBabes, Hautelook, Ideeli, Ruelala
- Shops: asos.com (uk store with super cute dresses), Intermix, Outnet/Net-a-Porter, French Connection, Bluefly, Calypso, Calvin Klein, AllSaints, BCBG, MaxStudio, Shopbop.com, ClubMonaco, Madewell, DVF, Anthropologie, Piperlime, Francescas, VictoriasSecret, Lulus, NastyGal Clothing, Free People, Neimans/Saks/Nordstrom/Bloomie’s (you can browse their sale sections)
Here are some cute dresses I found:
Asos ($113.05) VS Lace ($42.99) Free People ($68)
Lulus Maxi ($51) French Connection (£97.00)

I’ve been on the hunt like CRAZY!!!
I’ve been ordering online and returning what’s not right, which has been alot! Asos is great because they offer free shipping and free returns.
This is what I’m leaning towards, but my reheasal dinner is pretty low key. It’s from Asos – Elise Ryan V Neck Lace Skater Dress
But I also love this which is also from Asos – Closet Full Circle Skater Dress

@MlleFabuleux: Thank you for all the help! I found a few contenders using those websites. I loved all the dresses on asos! Super cute!
@dancingfox: I love both of those dresses! I hadn’t heard of Asos before, but I’m now a fan!
