This is a Dessy dress from my daughter’s wedding last June. They loved them!

My wedding hasn’t happened yet, but my bridesmaids all picked their own Dessy/After Siz/Alfred Sung dress in burgundy. They all went and tried them on at stores and each seemed to be able to find a flattering one (and the range is probably size 6-20). They ordered online through various sites (I remember House of Brides and Perfect Bridal) and the prices were all between $99-$150.

I had a couple of frustrating exchanges with them through email when I was trying to buy swatches (their swatch prices are a little expensive), but after a few emails, I had a couple people contact me directly and fix everything, so when it came down to it in the end, the customer service turned out really well.

I don’t have any pics but we ordered dresses from Dessy/After 6/Alfred Sung too.  They just came in and they look fabulous.  I did order swatches – and they are pricey – but have been helpful.  One caveat with the swatches – just order the fabric swatch – the painted card is not the same color and was a total waste of money.  Also there was plenty of fabric for me, my vendors, and the moms to have a piece!

I’ll try to remember to post pics here after my wedding (in 3 weeks!)  If I forget, feel free to PM me and I’ll be happy to share!

My girls are all wearing the Dessy After Six style 6553 in flame and I bought the same dress in the black and white floral pattern for my rehearsal dress.  My wedding hasn’t happened yet so I don’t have pictures but the dresses look beautiful and seem to be really good quality!

My girls are wearing Dessy style 2793 in Claret and I LOVE them.  They were ordered through the bridal shop where my gown is coming from and I actually picked them up last weekend and they are really gorgeous.  The quality is great.  I don’t have pictures yet though since my wedding isn’t until September, but maybe call around to some shops in your area to see if they have a sample to try.  It’s a popular line so a lot of places will carry the designer.

Here are all my girls in their Dessy dresses.  I let them pick any of the tea length Alfred Sung dresses in African Violet satin.  It actually worked out perfectly because my Maid/Matron of Honor was the only one who selected a dress with straps so she stood out from the group.  I loved them and I have already had a couple girls tell me they have worn the dresses again.  And the best part was they were only about $140.
