From a moral viewpoint I am, just as I am against war and capital punishment. I would not judge someone for getting one, but would not choose it myself. From a governmental standpoint I think it is the government’s responsibility to protect the woman’s right of property(her body)and the fetus’s right to life.
The only way to accomplish this would be to allow women the right to evict, but not to kill, if it is at the point of viability. As medical abilities advance it would mean less and less true abortions, and eventually it would mean none.
I don’t think either side would accept that conpromise for a long time, however.

In a perfect world I would be pro-life. But we don’ live in a pefect world, so I am certainly pro-choice. While I think all kids should be loved, and given a loving, caring home, that isn’t the reality of the situations out there.

Anyways, I’m not trying to offend anyone or start a huge Brawl between opposing sides. Just wanted to see who was also pro-life.

The thing about topics like abortion is nobody will really ever change anyone’s mind on it. I don’t judge people that have abortions, but it does make me sad. I love people despite the things they do and that is also something that someone else’s opinion can’t change.
I have known people who use it as ‘birth control’ so the pp is not making it up but i also know people who have done it for completely different reasons.
There is nothing wrong with being sad for the people that do use it as birth control…

100% pro-life but I have also counseled women who’ve had abortions and are considering having abortions. If the option is there, I definately try to sway them against the abortion. If they are set on having it I do not judge and focus on giving them all the facts, keeping my opinion out if it. I stand up for whoever needs it, and sometimes it’s mom.

I think the OP has a right to post this thread. The previous person posted their thread and OP was upset by it and is responding which is fair enough.
I think a termination when you are in a stable relationship is hard to understand and saddens me.
