@ChefDori:  Pro-choice means I can choose between abortion or NOT having an abortion.  It does not mean I will choose an abortion.  It means I CAN.  Do you see the difference?

@Keylime Pie:  “But I dont think a living thing inside your womb is a part of your body.”

Amen!! The baby is its own body not the mother’s.

I’m definitely pro-life.  I think that every woman has the right to choose – whether to have sex or not.  If it’s a case of rape or an extreme unexpected medical issue then those are the only points where I believe that abortion should be an option.  And certainly I don’t agree with MY tax dollars going to pay for elective abortions especially in the cases where a lady just didn’t want to be ‘inconvenienced’.

Some people in this post are really just plain ignorant. Speaking for myself, it’s not about what you do with your body at all, your body is YOURS. It is about that LIFE inside of you that YOU created and ultimately, will choose to take away, and for what reason? That it’s “not the right time?” Some people find that find very hard to contemplate. I do somewhat understand victims of rape having an abortion, but I still do not agree with it. I understand, as a mother myself, that carrying a baby to term is not easy, I have been there and dealt with it… but really, the alternative, which is effectively killing off a life, just doesn’t bear thinking about.

Now, before you attack my opinion, just know that this is MY opinion and will not change. I will not talk anyone else down for the right to their opinion, so please be respectful and don’t do it to me.

@redheadem:  for me i would still keep the baby in that instance, but i am not going to go tell somebody that they should keep a reminder every day of what they went through, but i definitely believe that the baby should be kept, but i wouldn’t try to force my opinion down someone’s throat. i believe babies are blessings 🙂
