dgirl715 :  100% agree with everything you said

I know 3 people who are at the top level of a MLM company and every part of what you say is 100% correct.

They are always self promoting, they are constantly networking (but I can confirm have very few “proper friends” who pop round to their house etc, it’s all for show) and they act charismatic but they are very very thick skinned and don’t care about the 99% of the people they piss off in the process of getting to the 1% they recruit

I signed up with a MLM company (think accessories) for the discount. I have a FB page that I asked if anybody wanted to be added to and I post cute pieces, specials and whatever. I’ve made a few hundred bucks and I have no desire to have anybody on my “team.” I have a full time job which I love and don’t really need the extra income so my commission is just a fun bonus. When I get the emails and see the “top sellers” it’s actually pretty sad because when you do the math, they probably aren’t even making $10K a year.

Also the the way I always get out of R/F is to say I have really picky skin and am on a serious regimen with my esthetician and derm. 😉

No amount of money is worth the amount of people who will hate you by the time you make it.
