I love texture, here is my rose gold wedding band.  ETA: ooops, you only wanted brilliants, sorry.

I do I do!! I LOVE this style so much which is why I picked it for my engagement ring! We had mine custom made along with the wedding band. It was inspired by the David Yurman “cabled” band. I didn’t want a diamond band on my engagement ring but I felt that the twisted look added just enough visual interest. The wedding band has tiny diamonds on every other twist. I haven’t seen very many other people on here with this style.

aaliyah :  my wedding band is a flattened twisted rope style, it’s 10k rose gold and is from a seller on Ebay that I can’t think of the name of right now but could easily find by searching if you really wanted to know, because I’d recognize thier pictures

aaliyah :  Unfortunately I don’t have very many with my wedding band because I technically can’t wear it just yet. I do have 1 with the engagement ring and band together in outdoor sunlight. I think the band sparkles just enough, I wouldn’t call it “blingy” or anything though. For me, I am not a big jewlery wearer and before getting enagaged I only wore a simple silver ring on my right hand. Now if you wanted more sparkle than what you see in the picure, I bet you could get a thicker band made so that the diamonds would be larger. I THINK mine is 2.6MM in width. So you could do like a 4MM band and get larger diamonds I would think. For me, I like to let the solitare do the shining.

My finger is a size 6 for reference. I think my diamond is 1.3 carats or somewhere around there and the engagement ring band is 2MM in width.

Check out this website They have lots of different twisted options and if you know a jewler, they could replicate the style for a more affordable price. That is what we had done!

This is not my engagement ring but the Fiance did buy it for me on valentines. It’s a David yurman châtelaine ring with a pink tourmaline center stone and ring diamonds on the claws.

aaliyah :  Yes it will look awesome on your finger!!! I think based of PPs post, it would look really nice in gold. Mine set is platinum just because I am super clumsy and bang it on things quite a bit so having the harder metal gives me some piece of mind. I can’t recall specifically but I am almost certain it is in the J-L range. And I think it is only SI2 in clarity which technically isn’t the best but I really only see an inclusion when I stare at it from very close range. And FH just said he things it was more like 1.25 carats.

To me it is perfect and sparkly and we paid wholesale price for it so I can’t complain in the least. Honestly, the quality of the stone only matters if you are planning on reselling it at somepoint or if its like totally obvious with the naked eye that it is of lower quality, although I am certain many people on here would disagree with that. To me, as long as I am happy with the way it looks, that is all that matters! David Yurman actually makes a solitare with the same band as my wedding band. This one is cushion cut but it will give you an idea of what it might look like combined into 1 ring.
