herrera2016 :  Girrrrrrl ain’t no shame in that! Not silly at all. All of your signs sound good, and if I had a weird squinter like you did yesterday I’d be peeing on ALL the sticks lol. I think I will buy a multi pack and test tomorrow. Problem is once you have them it’s tough not to test 3 days in a row haha. Self control is not my forte.

fourtylove :  Ugh I feel you! I feel like every single bubble and twinge is a sign. Keeping yourself busy is a MUST! Are you TTC #1 as well?

MacKaylarae :  If you can wait until 14dpo you should try. Soonest date I would suggest is maybe 10dpo so Nov 3rd.

SundayKat :  Yes I normally get tender/sore breast before AF which is why I’m not really counting it as a symptom just yet… I’ve had a couple of random twinges here and there but I dont want to get my hopes up so im just chalking it up to gas…

If it were by chance to be our lucky month I plan on surprising Darling Husband by getting a giant round balloon and putting tissue paper tassles on the string and attaching the test to the bottom of the balloon in the empty bedroom that would be the nursery. I’d also buy him a bible and highlight 1 Samuel 1:27 ” For this child I have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of my heart” and leave it right under the test.

We have a things for balloons so I think it would be cute, when he first asked me to be his girlfriend 7 years ago it was in the middle of a park with a box full of balloons that he let out, our engagement photos we used balloons as a nod to that moment so I feel it would only be appropriate to use them for this milestone as well.

  • SundayKat – Yes TTC for our first. I have had two miscarriages this year – but had testing done and found out my thyroid was out of whack. Hoping now that they caught that, it will help things!  Just trying to stay positive overall and enjoy each day – you just never know!

Wishing you so much luck this month and the coming months!!!  🙂

Love this post! And LOVE the Oprah meme. Funniest thing ever LOL

This is our first month TTC for #1. I’ve been stalking these boards for months now in prep for when we actually start TTC. I was so eager and anxious and impateint those few months, but all of a sudden, I have a strange sense of calm. So unlike me because I am the so impatient! I will test in 10 days if AF doesn’t show her bloody face.

Good luck to all you Bees! I keep thinking, if we get BFPs this month, this will be our last christmas just Darling Husband, me and our furbaby 🙂 EXCITING!

cristinamarie92 :  Omg I’m so glad you said that hehe I’ve been a little extra gassy too and I’m embarrassed but it’s really hard to tell sometimes! Even the cramps I think are just gas/indigestion sometimes. That sounds soooooo precious. I really hope it’s your month so you can bring that amazing reveal to fruition!! Keep me updated! Baby dust!

fourtylove :  I’m so so sorry for your losses, hun. I had a chemical in February and it was hard to get back to feeling like myself for a while. Now I think it’s made me more determined than ever. Sounds like you found the root of the issue though. Do you require meds or is it easily controlled? Sending you lots of baby dust & all the luck in the world!

MacKaylarae :  FRER’s say 6 days before your missed period, but I’ve seen a lot of people get BFN’s that early that really do get a pos later. It’s a matter of containing your disappoinment–it’s so hard not to test every single day but then you get sad every single day and then get your hopes up again telling yourself “well it’s still early!.”

Realistically, 10DPO is early, and 14DPO is ideal. Having said that, I came very very VERY close to testing yesterday at 5DPO. Sigh.

sua2walt :  Thank you & welcome!! Same on the last Xmas! That’s such an exciting way to think about it. I’ve been stalking these boards since before Darling Husband had even proposed in 2013 LOL so I know the feeling. FX for you!

SundayKat :  Thanks so much!!!!  Sorry to hear about your chemical, but glad you’re feeling determined! This support really helps! None of my close friends are TTC right now – so they don’t want to get overloaded on this stuff! My RE said I will need to stay on thyroid medication at least through a pregnancy, but they will re-evaluate after that.

When will it be time for you to test? It will be Sunday for me! B/c of the prior MCs, I’ve learned never to test early – there is plenty of time to experience the pregnancy if it happens!!  🙂  All in good time!!

I’ve just popped back to see how everyone’s doing and those memes have made me chuckle.

cristinamarie92 :  aww your balloon plans are so lovely. You could always stick on up your jumper and waddle past just to see his face!

I’m going to hold out til Monday and if AF hasn’t arrived I’ll test then. I’m feeling she will though. I’m really hungry today. Usually a sign I’ll start soon.

herrera2016 :

Jumping in to say that I think I’m going crazy! I’ve had cramping and bloating. I’ve been kinda gassy too but that randomly happens some times. I’ve also felt nauseous the past two days. This is my first month TTC so I think my mind/body is freaking out. lol

I just bought this onesie for when I tell Darling Husband. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MF9CZTY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

He is such a star wars nerd so I think he will love it.

And then for his family I’m going to get Disney shirts that say “Grandma”, “Grandpa”, “Aunt Name”, and “Uncle Name”. Cause they are all really big Disney people.

Not sure about my family yet. But definitely not taking them out to eat cause all three of my sisters did that with their accidently pregnancies. So I want something completely different.

Love that gaming onesie by the way. My Darling Husband would probably like that one too.

Dr_dazzle :  omg that bb8 onesie is the best thing I’ve ever seen!!

gah!  I may have to go onesie shopping. It’s not like I haven’t completely lost my mind already.  Let’s add more baby rocket fuel to this fire HAHAHAH. I was just thinking a funny card like so: https://www.etsy.com/listing/187531217/pregnancy-announcement-husband-baby

herrera2016 :  I had many TWW before I got the BFP. But, I honestly had no symptoms. The only thing that made me wonder was that my temps continued to stay high, where they usually would have dropped a little by the day that i actually tested (11 DPO). AF was supposed to come that Saturday/Sunday, and I took the test on the Thursday with a positive.

Other months (it took us 5 cycles and I was 35, Darling Husband 37), every little thing made me wonder and that didn’t help. So, it was odd that I didn’t feel any different expect for the temps staying high and continued to stay high.

Everyone is different, though.

fourtylove :  I’m in the same boat!! Most of my gfs are single. I can see the regret in their eyes when they ask how ttc is going and have absolutely NO idea what I’m talking about LOL.

YAY! So good you got this thyroid stuff under control early in the process. You’ll totally get a sticky little bean now!

Af was due today and still hasn’t showed so I may test tomorrow fmu. If I’m really patient I’ll ride it out until Saturday. My cycles are usually 32-34 days but I’ve had some as long as 42. I’ve been feeling especially out today.
