They are red Mokara orchids. They are very pretty. I think orchids tend to be expensive though.

We’ve looked into orchids for the bouquets and their price was pretty average, not more than most of the other flowers. But look around, it probably also varies by season and we got quoted for June so it could be different at different times.

They look like orchids to me, too. I’m also using red orchids for my wedding! 🙂

yes i agree mokara orchids.  they come in reds pinks oranges and maybe another color…they have a nice intense color.  i was quoted a price for a similar arrangement only one not three and i think it was around 60-80…which is more than i would want to spend on that but you could possibly get it for less.  i went to a wedding that had larger more almond shaped vases with the floating candle and a purple phalenopsis orchid it was a nice stand alone centerpiece

I am using the red mokara orchids from Sam’s Club online….recommended by my florist! The price is pretty reasonable – I would not have thought I would be using orchids as my centerpiece flowers!

Check out the fifty flowers website, then search dendrobium orchids and you will see a large selection of colors. The prices are average about $2.00 per stem with free shipping in the U.S.

Canada shipping is $45. but worth it as the flowers come in so fresh you won’t be sorry if you use them. However it’s a funny site to order from because if you want a few selections you have to pay separate shipping on all selections to Canada anyway. Good luck
