Ok, I hope I’m not the only one but I prefer jewerly that has less bling.
For example, my wedding ring… I had to chose between two rings that were same price. One had more diamond and one had less. I chose the one with less. Saleswomen looked at me like I was crazy.
Today, me and the Darling Husband got each other new watches for our one year anniversary. (Sorry you may think it’s a bit boring but I like multi functional gifts. haha.) The Darling Husband thinks it’s funny we got Citizen Eco-Drive watches that are suppose to run forever (because they don’t need batteries.) He said some some cheesy line like, we got forever watches just like our forever marriage. Haha! I did laugh at that.
Anyway, I’ve been having a hard time picking out the right watch. I’ve seen this specific saleswomen about three times this week. (Long story short, Darling Husband got me a ring but it was the wrong stone and we were going to exchange it for the right gemstone but they didn’t have it, so I ended up looking at watches.)
So I come to see her today and she told me that she found one with the pink face I like but it has diamonds and then she remembered that I don’t like diamonds like the rest of us? What? I do like diamond but I don’t like a lot of it. Its okay, I like this women and I’m sure she didn’t mean it to be mean. She does work at a jewelry store, so I’m pretty sure everyone who works there loves diamonds and such.
So yeah, does anyone out there prefer less bling?
