I love this sleeve style, but I also really love vintage clothing. It’s very 70’s though.

You know what, that last one is actually pretty nice! Maybe because it is lace or maybe the sleeve is not as big. So maybe it can be done. Otherwise I find it too ’70s. And I just don’t embrace the ’70s like I do some other decades!

I love the medieval type dresses. FH and I were going to have a Celtic inspired wedding until we ended up picking Victorian steampunk as a theme.

I like that second one! What a pretty combo of white and blue!

Honestly, ignore the haters and the people who cry “Outdated!” Most of our future children/nieces/nephews are going to giggle over our wedding photos no matter how “hip” we try to be. That is part of the fun.

I like them.  Not usually on me, though.  But then again, I’ve got weird proportions, so they always end up not fitting right.  I particularly like them in lace like the third one you posted.

But whether I like it or not, if you like it, I say ignore the naysayers.  Go with what YOU want!

I think they’re beautiful, but that they do sort of look inherently 70s/whimsical/faery/medieval. None of this is a bad thing, IMO! But it definitely sets the tone for the wedding.

I really like that style, but though I wear it for blouses, I don’t know that I would do it for my wedding dress. But only because I have gone to many ren faires, and I know if I wore that style of sleeve, everyone would think I was having a medieval themed wedding, and just being really halfassed about it. That’s just me though. If you don’t run with that crowd, people probably wouldn’t make that association.

That reminds me of my mom’s wedding dress.  She made it herself and was married in 1979.  She’s the one in the print dress.  Her sister wore a pale yellow that looked white!!!

I’m not even going to lie, I would wear all of those in the links, twice.

They are a little Ren Faire but also EPIC! I love that the second one is inspired by Narnia. I really want it now. I think that third one you posted is the most modern looking and will look the best in a wedding that isn’t specifically a theme wedding.
