Her and I have always gotten along, she’s super nice and I’ve never had any issues with her. She is SO excited that I am joining the family, it’s so cute.

Yes I do love my SO’s mother and his entire family. We all get along very well. Unfortunately his fater passed away a few years ago. I am lucky i was as able to meet him a few times. It does sadden me that my future kids won’t know their Grandpa 🙁

I love my in-laws.  They’re awesome prayerful people who’d do anything for us.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!

My Future Mother-In-Law is very nice. She can be a bit of a neat freak and touch our stuff sometimes (we live with them) but other than that she is great!! I’m so lucky! My one friend has a b**ch of a mother in law and I feel sorry for her everytime I hear the stories

@FluffysMama:  love?  no.  tolerate?  yes.  I’m marrying an only child so she harbors some resentment which is tough to deal with.  But I look at is as I’m marrying her son, not her.  Our relationship doesn’t have to be peachy.

My Future Mother-In-Law is absolutely amazing.  Actually, so is Future Father-In-Law.  They have always treated me like part of the family, and been wonderful to me.  In fact, when we got engaged they were both almost giddy excited!  Fiance told them the day the ring he ordered arrived, and the next day (while the ring was being sized) I caught them sneaking glances at my finger, clearly looking for the ring.  When we told them (we waited so we could tell them in person, together, once Fiance got off work the next day), they were both so happy.

Since then, they have both been involved in wedding planning, but not obnoxiously so.  I go places with Future Mother-In-Law, we’ll shop together, etc.

I count myself very lucky to have the Future In-Laws that I do.  They are really like a second set of parents to me.

I love mine but I don’t like her 100% percent of the time. She’s has my back with everything even arguements with Handsome, but she does like Handsome’s attention. If handsome isn’t there in the same room with her when we come over she whine’s that he’s ignoring her.

I completely agree with you, OP.  My Future Mother-In-Law is a WONDERFUl woman and I just adore her.  She’s so sweet, kind and so happy for Fiance & I.  I’ll be happy to call her my Mother-In-Law in 34 more days!
