If you have a digital camera and a tripod, then go ahead and set those up together.  Then all you need is a backdrop, and a remote control that works with your camera, and you have a photobooth.  We’re leaning towards going in this direction.  Although the version with the Mac laptop is also an option for us as well…

If you have 2 shooters, you can probably get one of them to run your photobooth for a few hours (if you want).  A friend did that, and the pics were great.

You could try setting up your digital camera with a delay–usually there is like a 10 second delay on most point & shoot cameras.  Just put instructions for people to hit the button & wait for the photo to get taken.  I  know mine makes like 3 short beeps right before it gets taken, so it will give folks a little warning.

Also, if you have a mac, I know people have had great success using the camera on the mac and an instant photo printer.  Someone has created an action for the mac that automates the whole thing. I can’t remember the site, but if you search on the weddingbee site for photobooths I am sure you will find it.  Good luck!!

Or maybe you could borrow a camera that would work or a mac that would work from friends or family?  good luck!
