I was seriously considering doing this to save money, and the hand tied bouquets look pretty simple. However, I ended up hiring a local florist at the groccery store to do the bouquets, bouts and corsages. Bouquets were $25 for the bridal and 20 for the BMs, Bouts were $10 and Corsages were $15. Mostly roses.

I figured that the tiny bit of extra expense (well who knows, it might have been even cheaper than ordering them, since I didn’t price out the floral tape and ribbon and how many roses I’d need for my arrangements) was well worth it. When it came down to it, I didn’t want to spend the money or time to do trials, nor did I want the pressure of doing them with my mom and bridal party the night before or morning of. That time is for the rehersal dinner and getting beautiful the morning of your wedding, not for working.

However, if you have lots of people close to you who are comfortable with floral arranging and would love to do it, I say go for it!
