I don’t plan on doing favors. I will be doing a candy bar so I figure that the bags of candy can just double as a favor. My dad and I tend to have the mentality of not wanting some random “piece of crap” (his words, not mine) that I will just have to dust and probably end up throwing away later. (No offense to anyone doing favors, I just don’t want tons of trinkets with our names and dates on them for no reason) Is it weird to not have favors? Will anyone even notice?

I dont think its weird. We’re not doing favors either and we’re also doing a candy/sweets bar. I dont think people will care really..

I am debating it myself. We are doing a cookie/candy bar and i was thinking of doing eddible favors, so I think an additional favor might be overkill. I don’t ever notice is there a favor to be honest, because usually I don’t take it anyway. Was thinking about getting some cute bags made up to take cookies/candies!

I couldn’t tell you about any of the favors in any wedding I have ever attended. I don’t notice them, don’t take them home, and therefore aren’t doing them at ours.

No favours here.
We want our guests to take memories, maybe some pictures; but no clutter or calories.

I’m not doing favours, in my eyes the fact that they are
1. having a meal paid for &
2. have the pleasure of being a guest & sharing one of the most important days of your life with you is enough!!
It’s an extra expense that brides on a budget should not have to worry about 🙂

We aren’t doing favors either. Our favors are dinner and an open bar 🙂

I’m not doing favors. I would rather put that money into making another aspect of the wedding more enjoyable for my guests. I think they are unnecessary!

I don’t think we are doing favors either. It does seem like a waste of money to me.
