I am, but like other bees, I didn’t really go out of my way for this. Something old is my grandmother’s diamond bracelet that she gave me. New is my dress. And blue is my garter, but not your typical blue. My fiancé is a huge Michigan Wolverines fan and I’m getting a “Go Blue!” wolverines garter that I’ll surprise him with. Only thing I don’t have is something borrowed. If I can’t get anything, oh well no biggie.

@yehyehgirl:  i did everything apart from borrowed… though not intentionally. my seamstress added a blue bow to the underneath of my dress where the bustle tied and my garter had a blue ribbon on it, my dress was new, i wore my good old faithful leopard print knickers and i had a sixpence that my sister gave to me for being her bridesmaid last year. (wierd gift for bridesmaids imo but there we go)

We’ve got a year, but I’m pretty sure my mom has planned most of it.

Borrowed and sixpence will be from my sister….the sixpence she wore in her shoe back in 1998!

@yehyehgirl:  I’m not doing it either. My weddi-moon is so out of out the box and non-traditional we figured why force traditions into it?

@yehyehgirl:  Haha, thanks! I’m also surpising him with a Wolverines grooms cake. Not sure what design yet, either the blue “M” or a football that’s maze and blue? I dunno, we’ll see. Not telling anyone about that except for my mom and photographers so everyone will be surprised and no one will let the cat out of the bag. Go Blue! 🙂

I’m not planning to consciously do it. However, our colours are blue, so I really want a blue garter (plus it’s my favourite colour). My dress is new, and the necklace I plan to wear will be technically “old” since my Fiance gave it to me two Christmases ago.

Would not have gone out of my way for it.  It sorta happened by accident, anyway, though.
