I never had dress regret…I’ve always loved my dress from the first time I saw the sample hanging in the store. I did have a little dress envy after seeing so many beautiful dresses on here but I never stopped loving my dress.

I walked into the dress store saying NO FLUFF, FOOF, or FRILLIES. I had my heart set on a mermaid or fit and flare with flowers. I tried on a few lace gowns, didn’t do it for me. I tried on a few mermaids and realized there was no way I would be able to dance. I felt like satin and pickups weren’t my style. I started feeling kind of frustrated until the attendant handed me this dress with a drop waist, asymmetrical hem, flowy bottom and a single strap. I was pretty skeptical because of the fluff on the bottom. As soon as I tried it on I realized it was everything I wanted! Our theme was Elegant Country Spring and this was perfect! My mom said well I say we just ring that one up and call it a day! Love at first sight for both of us that’s for sure! I’ve never seen anything else like it and it was a hit at the wedding. I get my professional pictures back this weekend, can’t wait!

I originally wanted a sexy little mermaid gown but after trying on several, I just didnt get that “bridal” feeling. I tried on a dress with a huge ballgown (which I was totally against) but it definitely made me rethink the tight silhouette. I realized I wouldnt only get to wear a huge dress like this once in my life, so I may as well go for it. The dress I chose was the perfect compromise between a mermaid and ballgown, slim to the hips, then into a full a-line. I love my dress and even though sometimes I see other brides on here and think, “wow, that could be pretty too”, I feel like I made the best choice for me and have never regretted it! (And as far as the “trendy” aspect of the texture/flowers, Jackie O had huge pinwheel flowers on the skirt of her wedding dress for her marriage to JFK, and people still look to her for wedding gown style inspiration! )

No dress regret here! I only have teaser pro pics so far and you can’t really see my dress, so I attached a mirror pic I took after I was all ready too. 😛

I’ve posted mine on here so many times…which probably answers the question!!! I’m just sad that I only got to wear it for one day! I still get butterflies in my tummy just looking at photos of the dress. It was everything I dreamed of.

I was literally about to create a thread asking brides why the dress regret?!?! If you love your dress, then that’s all that matters! There shouldn’t be any doubts when you fill out that form & get measured, and if there are, keep looking.
The only time I was upset over my dress was at my first fitting. It was absolutely huge on me & I didn’t see it the way it eventually looked (after it being taken in 3 times)…

I’m sad you didn’t get dress love on here! Especially because when I scrolled down and say your dress it made me go, “Whoa!” I normally don’t like dress with color “stripes” (wrong word, but I can’t think of what I meant) but the bodice on your dress really makes it! It’s really fun and I bet it suits your personality to a tee.

No dress regret for me! Madly in love, might be a bit of an overstatement, but I love my dress and have never looked back.

From the moment I tried this dress on, it has been the one!

I tried my dress on first, tried on 2 more, then asked to put the first dress back on. Here she is! We’re making it a sweetheart neckline and pulling it in tighter around my booty 🙂
