Not for a second! I saw it hanging in the shop, and knew before I even put it on. It was the first dress I tried, and would have been the only one if I didn’t have 6 people with me who would have felt “jipped” if they didn’t get to see me try on a few dresses. By the 4th dress I was like… no more. We all know what’s happening here.

It was probably the 7th dress I put on.  I found it online at theknot.com.   Stalked it out and then found it on Costco warehouse’s website, and then waited for an ultimate sale that brought the dress to 299$.  Its silk organza and I’m madly in love with it and I cannot wait for him to see it.

    Edit:  It’s Kirstie Kelly design

@ellav:  Thank you! A short bridal dress was so ME. ๐Ÿ™‚ It was $200 at Le Château, made in Canada. The flower belt was from a vintage store, for about $25.

Here’s another pic with my cowboy ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’ve loved mine since I put it on. The thing about it is there are a MILLION gorgeous gowns out there that look beautiful in pictures but might not be the best fit for you. I tired on dresses I LOVED in photos but they didnt work for me. I bought my dress because it is the only one I felt was truely made for me and had everything I wanted. I think people just need to STOP looking after they buy, but also take time buying:)

Great thread! ๐Ÿ™‚ I really wanted an off-the-shoulder lace dress and was dead set on not even trying on a strapless dress. I didn’t like my dress when the consultant brought it out and told me I HAD TO try this on because she had a feeling it was very me. I gave in and tried it….and I fell in love. Our wedding was supposed to be last year so I bought my dress more than a year ago, but everyday, I’m still in love with it. I don’t like the pictures of me in it, but everytime I go back to the salon and put it back on, I fall right back in love with it. I did expect a more fitted look, though, because when I tried the sample on and was clamped in, it was more of a mermaid, so the seamstress will be taking it in more at the hips and legs. Otherwise, I love EVERYTHING about my dress. I’ll be wearing an off-the-shoulder bolero over it for my ceremony so I can still have my off-the-shoulder look, but nope, no dress regret for me! ๐Ÿ™‚
