We’re 99% sure we aren’t having one. Maybe we’ll have a mini moon the weekend after, but unfortunately we can’t afford one right away (we are paying for the entire wedding ourselves.) I’m a little bummed but we’ll plan a nice trip for our 1 year anniversary.

We still haven’t gone on our honeymoon. Between my semester, his job & both our sports seasons it just wasn’t going to happen. We’re hoping to finally go at the end of April, but at this point I don’t know how honest it would be to qualify it as a “honeymoon”.

The most annoying part is people asking about it, and not really understanding our lack of availibility.

I’m not as of right now. If we do, it will be a couple months later as Fiance is taking summer classes. I’ve traveled a lot so am not super bummed about not going on one, BUT damn I don’t want to go to work the Monday following the wedding! lol

We will not be taking a honeymoon. We just bought a house, and between the wedding and the house, there is no extra money for a honeymoon.

@FutureMrsRR:  Thats what we are doing as well.

We cant afford the honeymoon that we want (which would be going to Europe.) We have been saving all of our spare change in a jar. If we see money lying around the apartment (up to $10) or in our pockets before we do laundry, it goes in the jar. Its kind of fun to have a honeymoon jar. Then we also put a small % of extra money we earn in the Honeymoon account as well. We should be able to afford our Honeymoon on our 1 year anniversary.

@mrstaylortobe:  No honeymoon here. My Fiance owns his own business and only one employee. The nature of the business requires one in the shop and one out in the field.

We will be taking a long weekend and probably do what both love and go camping/fishing 😉

We went on a relatively local (5hr drive) “mini-moon” for 5 nights after our wedding.  We took a much bigger bucket list trip (safari) 11 months after we got married.

We aren’t having one. Like you we can’t really take the extra time off of work, but we also can’t afford to go on our dream vacation at the same time as a dream wedding so we plan on going for our 1 year anniversary.

We will not be having a honeymoon either. We just bought a house, paying for the wedding ourselves, and honestly just cannot afford it. Maybe we could drive somewere close by, and take 3 days or so, but it wont be the cruise i was dreamin of ;( but we have our whole life full of exciting vacations.

We aren’t bothering because we have a big trip planned 6 mnths later. We are just going to spend time with our friends and then spend the night  and next day at an expensive house we have rented.

@mrstaylortobe:  My Fiance and I aren’t going on a honeymoon because the wedding is taking a lot of our funds. We are going to go on our 1-year anniversary maybe sooner. But we are taking a mini-moon to Canada probably for a few days because we are getting married in Buffalo and so close to the border! Cool

We haven’t taken our honeymoon yet. Darling Husband is in school year round. We’re probably are going to wait until the summertime to go overseas.

I’m actually MORE excited about our honeymoon than anything else!

Fiance and i are having a civil ceremony while I weear a dress and inviting our parents os they can leave us alone already! Lol.. They really want to “be there when we get married” (they actually wanted us to have a huge wedding, but we opposed).. our honeymoon will be our intimate and alone time where we can celebrate our marriage in private.. We plan on going on our honeymoon immediately after
