Here is my dress!!! I found it gently used a few weeks ago and couldn’t help but buy it (that’s right… no ring yet… but I have a dress… I’m one of those crazies.) But it’s Pronovias and has everything I wanted. Ball gown skirt, high waist, lace bodice and most importantly 3/4 SLEEVES!! I think I’m going to see if there’s anything a seamstress can do to make sure it stays on my shoulders a little better. Besides that, it’s PERFECT for $200! =)

(sorry for the low res image. It’s a copy from my iPhone.)

this was my grandmother’s one request – no strapless! And I didn’t want one anyway. Wound up with AA1148

My dress wasn’t strapless, and everyone loved it! I liked that it was different, and my mom liked that it was modest.

I absolutely love this thread!!! When I went shopping for my dress I wanted something that just utterly screamed my name. I have never been a very blingy kinda girl and I love the look of things that are vintage with a bit of a twist. I was lucky enough to find what I wanted to DB. Here is a picture of my dress. I absolutely love, love, love my dress and all the others dresses on here! You all look beautiful!

I started with a strapless dress I loved and added sleeves and material to the bust area.  Wanted to be a little more modest.  😉

Here is mine.  Alfred Angelo 2048.

I didn’t care if there was straps or not.  Its part of the look of the dress.

I had straps too. I wanted off the shoulder but ended up loving this one.

Here’s mine! I have some scarring on my shoulder and chest, so I knew I’d feel way more comfortable being a bit covered up.
