I couldnt bring myself to go with a strapless gown.  Didnt want to have to keep pulling it up all night long, and being large in the chest area…they never tend to stay where I want them….and I fell in love with this gown from the second I seen it.  There was no doubt in my mind it was THE ONE

@leelee, that dress is SO elegant. It is drool worthy, just stunning!

I love seeing all the other non-strapless dresses out there. So many gorgeous choices! I wanted something a little different from all the dresses I’ve seen over the last couple years and figured having something with straps was the way to go.

Here’s mine, from the 2010 Pronovias collection — can’t wait to try her on again in another month…feels like I’ve been waiting forever!

I had a non-strapless dress ๐Ÿ™‚  Pronovias Huesca, originally a halter-top which I had altered into a v-neck tank top.

(don’t have pro pics yet)

@helenahelena1: Love your dress!  AND I love Glitter’s dress too!  (She was one of my fave Bees.)  I wore a tank-style dress in the interest of being modest.  (Yeah, how’d that work out for me..hahahahaha.)

@be2 – I tried that dress on!!!  It looked silly on me though.  It’s gorgeous and I’m so happy someone is wearing it.

I was adamant about having a dress with sleeves.  I’m busty, hate finicky strapless bras, hate the look of my bare chest/shoulders (unless its the heat of summer), and HATE armpit cleavage!!!

Then I fell in love with a strapless dress – the boning is a perfect combo of tight enough to keep everything up and in but loose enough to breathe…I am having cap sleeves sewn on to cover up the armpit cleavage and the large expanse of chesty/shouldery nakedness.

I love my non-strapless dress! I’ll feel more comfortable not having to continually pull it up all night.
