I’m thinking about not using flowers in our wedding, at all… other than in the wedding party. What do you think?
With lemons, not oranges, and no flowers on the bottom. (Our colors are white, black and yellow, our tableclothes are black and it’s an evening outdoor wedding) I will also have tons black lanterns on the tables.
Now, for the wedding party flowers.
Bridal bouquet ^ Silk flowers!
Bridesmaid bouquets ^
Bouts and corsages ^ Everything is silk.
Tell me what you think!

I think thats a great money saver! My friend did something similar in that she had NO flowers at all just lots and lots of candles and it was AMAZING! I didn’t even notice until it was pointed out to me. I say go for it!

They all look great! I love the concept of fruit as centerpieces, not only is it affordable, it looks great and adds that pop of colour too!

We’re doing three different centerpieces, with no flowers. I love it!

I like the fruit idea. It’s original and guests will remeber it! I also like your bouquets!
Our main color is kelly green so we are doing wheatgrass centerpieces. And candles; like this.

I love your flowers. I’m not doing flowers as centerpieces either, except for the bridal party. I would love to know where you got your flowers from.

Could you use some lemon slices to put around the bottom as kind of an anchor since you won’t be using the flowers like in the picture? Or, you could put some black river rock, then the lemons, then the candle. It would incorporate all 3 of your colors. Or you could put a black band of ribbon around the vase. And maybe add some mirrors underneath?

We’re not doing floral centerpieces, either. We’re doing all different sizes of mason jars with pillar candles in them and glass stones (black, white, clear) in the bottom. Throw in a couple of tea lights and we’re good to go!

I/m doing something like this:
Except the plates are gold leaf, the apples are red, the candles are white, and I’m adding acorns for a harvesty touch.
